Our active member base is hovering around about 17 right now. Don't get me wrong, it's super cool to have ANY active members on this forum! That being said, it'd be great if we had MORE!! Does anyone have any ideas on how we can get the word out about Brewmaster? I've been messaging other tabletop blogs since the great success outofcontextdnd has provided, but none of them have posted my pleas for plugs.
Does anyone know of any other tabletop interest blogs, sites, webzines, or even other forums?
I've also noticed a great lack in MTG discussion, and I'm not sure whether that is caused by unappealing organization on my end, a slim userbase interested in MTG, or that MTG might just not be something easily discussed. Any ideas on that either?
Thanks in advance guys, you've all made this forum amazing and I'd like to keep making it more so!

I'm not claiming to speak for anyone but myself, but I haven't played Magic with any regularity since Lorwyn block. Which... is a bit out of the loop, given how many years it's been since that particular experiment.

Last set I played was Unhinged... I just don't like putting money in hobbies that require constant upkeep.
As for the sharing of community... I'll keep thinking about it.

I'm currently part of a GM group on facebook which can up at least 1 member. The problem is that it's a national group, and most Costa Ricans aren't precisely into people who don't show their faces, which is synonymous of "Don't like to meet people online", allthough they are pretty friendly people.
I think what you could do for Magic is assign a second moderator that takes care of all things Magic and also start a broader add campaign that pulls in TCG fans in specific. Not only we get a more enthusiastic MTG admin that can take care of keeping that discussion alive, but also it will draw in people that's interested in the hobby, thus increasing the active userbase.
