Hey there Brew Masters, glad to be part of the crowd. My handle's Kadakism, though most folks shorten it to Kada, because they're all apparently lazy bastards who can't be arsed to tap out three extra letters. I suppose you can too, if you don't mind my silent judgement.
I'm a senior in college going for my BS in Psychology and dreadfully tired of the whole thing, but still have another two years for my Master's. I'm four years married with no kids and work part time as a cook at one of the unnecessarily many Waffle Houses in my area.
I started RPGing back in High School, when a friend introduced me to the world of free form play-by-post role playing forums. Quite the mouthful there, and it is not some of my prouder moments, being that I was a pretentious shit of a writer back then (some might argue that I still am, hoho). A friend got me into Advanced Dungeons & Dragons, Second Edition. Great times were had. We eventually moved on to 3.5 and Pathfinder, but I found my true passion elsewhere. While I greatly enjoy playing RPGs, I love reading and picking apart different rules systems. I proudly own several systems that I have never even played, and likely never will. But I know how their mechanics work and love them for what they do, even the Fantasy Heartbreakers.
So that's me. I'm up for discussion, debate, and general conversation. Maybe even a game session every now and then. I'm also currently enamored with D&D 5e, because it's so close to what I had hoped for 3.5 after playing 2e.
