So, how many people on this forum have ever heard of Dungeons: the Dragoning, aka "the greatest crossover RPG nobody anticipated?"

I know of it. No way I'd ever get a campaign together with it, but the rules seem surprisingly well-thought-out for something so kitchen-sink, and I for one welcome our new Ork Wizard and Thri-Kreen Techpriest overlords.
Considering throwing together a character sheet to show off how mangled things can get. Should I do the thing?

Considering throwing together a character sheet to show off how mangled things can get. Should I do the thing? I've written up a solid handful of characters in my spare time, actually. Personally, I encourage doing the thing. Also, not quite a campaign due to schedule limitations, but me and a few friends are doing a oneshot soon.

I think the only catch is that his Abjuration should only be at one dot; your rank in magic/sword schools and power stats can't go above your level.
Other than that, let the record show that Ch'Kaaa is a perfectly legitimate character, and they'd be welcome at most given tables (would say all of them, but there's always a chance of That Guy).

Wait, a DnD and Warhammer crossover? Am I hearing this right?

Wait, a DnD and Warhammer crossover? Am I hearing this right? It's got elements from Dungeons & Dragons, Exalted, Magic: The Gathering, Mass Effect, Scion, Warhammer (both Fantasy and 40K), World of Darkness (both Old and New)... and that's just the tip of the iceberg. Mechanically, its AEG's "Roll and Keep" system, married to the leveling system and critical tables of Dark Heresy, which were then welded into the framework of the World of Darkness "faction groups" where each type of Exalt has a particular set of abilities and stereotypes, with Dungeons & Dragons flavoring for the magic.

I can't tell if every word out of your mouth makes me smile or makes me weep. I may have to look this up.

Well, I've been reading through some of the material, and my stopping point is getting to be the classes part of the character creation system. It seems far too complicated to me.

Is there any place that has a good downloadable character sheet? I could use one to help me understand the character creation process a bit better.

For some reason this sounds like it'd be a great for a 'dnd in the future' setting

If you prefer something closer to the original, it'd probably be easy enough to copy out the pages from the PDF.
