I've got a few - Arcanum: Of Steamworks & Magick Obscura
- Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
- Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
- Fallout 3
- Final Fantasy VI and VII
- Freedom Force
- Shadowrun Returns
- Planescape: Torment
Games I've still yet to try but want to: BioShock (any), Deus Ex (any), Dragon Age (any), Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, Fallout (1 or 2 or New Vegas), Mass Effect (any), Might & Magic series, SW:KotOR, Ultima series, Wasteland 1 or 2, The Witcher, Wizardry series. I've tried a few MMORPGs -- Champions, City of Heroes/Villains, Elder Scrolls Online, The Secret World, WoW -- but none grabbed me.

Oblivion has remained my favorite RPG game for quite some time now, but the Dragon Age series holds a very fond place in my heart. I love Skyrim as well, and it's modding community is truely incredible. Pretty much anything Bioware makes is amazing to me. Mass Effect, KotOR, etc. I'm a sucker for deep lore.

I would have to say my top 3 would be the following:
1) Chrono Trigger 2) The World Ends With You 3) Dust: An Elysian Tail (If you want to count it)
Other notable games would be the Paper Mario Series, Super Mario RPG, Pokemon (mostly Gold/Silver and X/Y). I know I missed a whole bunch, but those are the ones I remember the most.

Chrono Trigger is on my top list as well; I must have played through it a half-dozen times. Ditto for Final Fantasy X. I started playing through The World Ends With You and then the damn thing stopped working on my iPad, so I'm just sort of waiting for them to fix it. Super Paper Mario was lots of fun.
If you're going for older stuff from the Might & Magic series, I highly recommend World of Xeen. M&M 4 and 5 are one big game, and they tie together nicely.

I'm going to throw Chrono Cross, Final Fantasy 5, and the Kingdom Hearts series up there as new additions, and second (third) the recommendations for Final Fantasy 6 and X, Skyrim and KotoR.

Final Fantasy Tactics for PS1. Loved the story, the characters, the job system. To this day I am still a sucker for games with job systems (hence why I played FFX-2).

FF7 was my first rpg and one of my fav's if for nothing else then nostalgia (though I'll admit it has issues)
FFT is for the ps1 is up there just like xanaphia XD
I am a big fan of the breath of fire series and I'm sad about THAT game being the last in the series before dieing out. (we don't talk about the last game released and few of us even acknowledge it as being related to the series)
That said I have a very large collection of Good old game, rpg's that I can link people as well as being an expert in emulators so if you ever want to try out a particular rpg let me know and I may be able to help you out =]
My personal motto is if it exists on the internet, I can find it XD

WILD ARMS 3.A bit of background first. I have played a ton of games in my long, long life, time that could probably have been devoted to better things But was devoted to video games. Why this particular choice? Out of all of them, why this? It wasn't my first (that would be Breath of Fire II.) It wasn't a particularly significant gift. It has no real meaning for me besides itself. So why this? Because it's unique. Nothing's quite like Wild Arms 3. Even the other Wild Arms games- which backtrack and flinch from the promise of a Western Fantasy- do not come close to it. It stars a female protagonist. How rare is that? And no flinching from her role as the hero, the protagonist par excellence herself. She has her problems, but it is in overcoming them without succumbing to them that she grows into her role as a great hero, seeking justice. The other characters are likewise interesting, and even the battle mechanics are different- nobody really fulfills any particular RPG stereotypes except perhaps Clive, who is the Mighty Glacier, but even then he's also unusual because he's the second-best mage too, and he is an incredible exaggeration of his character type- Clive is guaranteed to go last in every battle except his solo duels. He also hits harder than everyone else in the party combined. It's ridiculous but the care given to making even the most "normal" character combat-wise something special is a good example of the care taken with each part of WA3. I won't go on- brevity is the soul of wit, or as engineers say, KISS (keep it simple, stupid)- but Wild Arms 3 is the best RPG I've ever played.

I've always loved just about anything Square Enix does, even back when it was two separate companies, particularly during the Super Nintendo days. I also love the Elder Scrolls series, and I want to get the set that has them all so I can finally play the first two. There are so many more that I really enjoyed playing, but if I have to narrow it down, this is the best I can do. XD
