Can't say I'd heard of world of darkness before jumping on here, but after a quick look it looks interesting. If there aren't enough people playing and you're fine with someone who doesn't really know the setting I'd love to play! GMT +0 but I can be extremely flexible with time zones. I'm still trying to nail down an exact time we can play, but if you're flexible enough, I'd love to have you onboard! Are you willing to be up late/early on weekends?

I'm willing to be up late basically any time, seriously whatever time you guys decide it's probably good for me!

Ok, but just keep in mind, the only thing I know is A) the name and B) you probably use dice. No worries! As long as you're can do roleplaying in general, then we'll help you pick it up. World of Darkness is a modern-fantasy game focussing on action and horror. It's a world much like our own, except every nagging fear you've ever had is true. The supernatural exists, lurking in the shadows and preying on mortals in secret. Players are ordinary people whose lives have been touched by the supernatural, becoming vampires, werewolves, mages, or even stranger things. We'll find you a super special double-plus legal pdf of the rules when we get more organized, but it's easy enough to learn. You roll d10's.

My new favourite phrase. Edit: Or the site could not quote you, that'd be good too.

Kinda curious what the stranger things are. Though I am reminded of this game I played. Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines.

I believe Vampire: The Masquerade (the original game the video game was based on) is tied to world of darkness, so that'd be why.

It probably sounds familiar because it actually takes place in the World of Darkness universe. Basically, the publisher made a separate "edition" of the World of Darkness game for each monster. Vampire: The Masquerade was the book with rules for playing as vampires. The video game was based on that.

At this point, it looks like we have enough players:
Pascal Wrouth xander xalian frostedcupcake - GM
I'm tentatively planning for a weekend playtime. Just waiting for a reply from frostedcupcake to see if weekends are good for her.
