Howdy folks! First time posting and I am eager to introduce myself to (hopefully) likeminded players! On the internet I go by the name Tolluf and always have unless the username have been taken by someone else. Some short info about myself would be that I am from Norway and still lives there. I like spending my time playing video games, read books, play MtG and things related. I am currently attending university to become a teacher, 1 1/2 year left. I have long been interested in doing tabletop games since I first discovered it, living in a smaller town in Norway I've never had people around that was interested in the genre of games and first now at university I have hand the chance to play my first ever tabletop with the pathfinder rules. Saying this, I am faaar from experienced when it comes to tabletop or using roll20.net. Nice meeting y'all and hope that the read wasen't totally boring. When it comes to systems like DnD or Pathfinder or others, I am quite indifferent because of the lack of experiene as pathfinder is the only one I have tried so far. This basically means I am very eager to play any at all.  |

I know nothing of the setting or system of Deadland. But I sure am interested. Any games to get experience within tabletop or the likes! |

Hey there, welcome to the forum! If you're interested at all, we're trying to get together a Dark Heresy (Warhammer 40k, if you don't know) game, we're still looking for a player or two and a gm. You don't really need to know the setting or anything, it can be explained to you and arguably the less you know, the better as things that are meant to be scary will seem scary. You just need to know that it's a pretty brutal universe and game system (not the friendliest game for beginners, but it isn't massively complicated). If you're interested we're over in the general game setup forum, here specifically if you want to give us a shout! Hope you enjoy your time here! |

Actually the Dark Heresy game might be even better- after all, it was started in England, which is literallly an ocean closer to you than the American made games! |

One of our friends just asked if it would be alright if he joined, so that would bring it up to four. He isn't too keen on doing stuff through voice chat though, so he might not be interested (don't think we've decided on whether that's what we're doing yet). Even if he is, I personally wouldn't mind having a 5th player, but it's up to other people! I think it's pretty much agreed we're totally fine with someone who doesn't know anything about it. One of the other players, Xander, doesn't know all that much, just the questions I've been answering over the past few days while he's been thinking up his character! In short, post in the topic, we'll decide what we're going to do and see what it comes to! |
