Hello there everyone, I am Dissypoo! I'm 20 years old and still pretty new to the whole tabletop game scene and don't have a lot of experience or know-how on everything, with only a few casual games (that were abandoned and never finished) under my belt!
I've always been interested in all this but never knew how to go about starting, but I'm hoping this will properly introduce me into the world of tabletop roleplaying!
The few that I have done have been in a Buffy the Vampire slayer setting where I usually played a Xander type character and one of your average fantasy setting that didn't get very far, but I beat some thugs over the head with a lute so that was fun.
I'm really interested in playing a Vampire: The Masquerade game as I was introduced to that by the Bloodlines PC game, and would love to get into any other games in that area.
But really, if any of you wouldn't mind having a newbie playing a game with you, I'd be really into joining cool sessions! Though it may make me sound thirsty please hit me up if any of you have any V:TM sessions willing to take on a new player
Here's to hoping for a fun time! (=ↀωↀ=)✧

Hey there, welcome to the forum! Someone on here is actually looking to be a first time GM for vampire, It's only going as a one shot right now, but he's looking to possibly turn it into a campaign if people enjoy it! Just so you know it's likely going to be on skype via text chat if that changes anything for you. Link is here!

I use Skype all the time so that'll work out nicely, and also be more familiar for me and ease me into it. Couldn't ask for a better opportunity, really. Thank you!

At the moment, I've got a large number of free-form games going (games without a system) but the three major ones are, I'm GMing a 1x1 Pathfinder game for a friend who's trying to get into the hobby, and I'm in two more Pathfinder games. One of them is over Roll20, it's an epic-scale, high-level game (we started at 9th and have reached 13th recently) where our characters are trying to prevent the return of a demon dragon who tried to take over the world a thousand years ago; the other one, my only in-person game, is a somewhat silly first-level evil campaign, in which I play a money-obsessed Kitsune druid who's already attempted to sell our barbarian into slavery once.
I'm trying to run an FFX game based in my Spira's Hope setting but it had to be put on hiatus over the holidays, and hasn't gotten started back up yet D:

I really have high hopes that maybe I can be involved with such things on a regular basis. I've also used Roll20 before, so though I didn't use it for long during a Buffy session, I'm somewhat familiar with it and it's so useful. I usually play good characters who are at worst mischievous, so an evil campaign must be interesting, perhaps I'll be able to try something like that soon! I think it'd also be fun to play a completely ordinary character who is dragged into a party with orcs and magic users, and has to overcome obstacles without any special buffs or anything! Have you encountered something like that in any game?

Only in freeform, because it's easier to keep that character alive without the rulesets. But I do know that some people like to run certain games with completely normal people getting dragged into the gameworld and having to survive... played a d20 Modern Resident Evil game like that.
Though it would definitely be interesting to start a fantasy game with at least one character from the normal world or whatever... and then have them have to try and guess how to use their class features! Maybe a random roll fromt he GM to see if they used their abilities by accident....? Kekekekeke..... especially fun for sorcerers......

Hail and well met!
Apologies for the lateness of my introduction, but it is always good to see new faces here at Brewmaster!
