How I got here

So I came across this forum from the out of context dnd blog while checking out the gurps tag on tumblr after talking to a guy who works at vintage stock about gurps and other table top rpgs because I was buying the dungeons and dragons cartoon series. That's the whole story.
I would like to get more into these games and I'm even interested in GMing. So far I've only played pathfinder since that's what my friends were playing. I'm pretty much interested in playing anything really.
As far as GMing is concerned, I really just need to play more to be more familiar with the rules and such; I've got the creative part down already.
