Based on the greatest roleplaying moments thread. My opponent had an elderscale wurm on the board. I doom bladed it with the dimir deck I'd borrowed from a friend. Normally this wpuldn't be that special, but one thing I had on the field was Lazav. |

I was playing an enchantment deck in the M14 game on steam. I managed to get a 1/1 flying with double strike out, then put an enchantment on it that doubled my health total every time it did damage to a player. Since the enemy had no flying I could smack away with reckless abandon, and since it had double strike my health total doubled twice every turn. By the time the game was over I had over 500 health.

I am not really an avid Magic player, mostly casual with a box full of cards my friends gave me.
But a few years ago at PAX I was playing a match against my friends sliver deck with my monstrosity of a multicolor mess deck. Now my friend is one of those people who plays loads of magic and has boxes and boxes of cards and makes usually amazing decks. But somehow either with his bad draws or my good ones I managed to win by getting a pretty powerful green creature and then enchanting it with flight.
The look on his face made it an epic moment for me

I'm not much of a magic player, but in high school i played against a friend with one of his spare decks. He was playing a red/black i think, and i was using his green deck. He expected to decimate me since I hadn't played before. Instead, i got the right cards at the right times and wound up summoning 4 or 5 1/1 saplings every turn. In two or three turns, I had 1/1 tokens on the field that i just completely overwhelmed him. It was a pretty epic first game.

So I am running an elf token deck, and I have an elf out that gives all other elves "This this creature add 2G to your mana pool." I have scores of tokens out, several elves that have "tap: add mana for each elf you have in play" and I pull a Joraga Warcaller. I managed to tap for 257 mana in one turn, so I have not one, but over fifty 256/256 creatures. |

Back in Innistrad block, I played Ludevic's Test Subject and managed to flip it into a 13/13. I played Spectral Flight on it and swung with a 15/15 flyer. The real kicker was that my opponent had had an Ambush Viper in hand, but with no way to give it flying it was useless vs. Ludevic's Abomination. This resulted in a lot of "throw the snake at the flyer jokes."
