Hey all I'm Sheena, the forum admin. I created Brew Master because I always thought I'd be a cool idea to have an community for tabletop enthusiasts to hang out! Here's a little bit about me:
I've always identified heavily with fantasy games and worlds, ever since I was a kid. I'm a trans woman, and growing up the fantasy genre was a great escape from the world around me. I grew up on Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter, and as I got older I began playing loads and loads of fantasy type rpgs. My first real roleplaying game experience was probably Oblivion, but I had done kid roleplaying stuff years before on online chatrooms as early as probably ten years old. I only really got into tabletop gaming within probably the last six years, everything before that was just video games. Dragon Age, Mass Effect, The Elder Scrolls Series, Halo, all that kind of stuff.
My first real experience with tabletop gaming was a 1E campaign that some of my best friends and I started yeaaaaars ago, and we're still playing that campaign today. Rich, deep lore and believable characters populate the campaign and it inspired me to do some world building of my own. I have pages and pages of notes on a world that doesn't exist and I'm pretty proud of that. I even started creating languages for some of the peoples that live there.
All being said, I'm a queer as hell, very distractable dork. I live in the US, and I'm really good at making ramen into a semi-gourmet dish (my crowning accomplishment).
